The Instant Indoor PoE (Power over Ethernet) Converter from Ubiquiti, identified by the manufacture part number INS-3AF-I-G, is a specialized device designed to convert Ubiquiti’s non-PoE hardware to be compatible with PoE switches and networks. This technical product is particularly useful for integrating Ubiquiti devices into existing network infrastructures that utilize PoE capabilities, thereby simplifying the power and data cabling requirements. Compatible with airMAX® and UniFi® devices and offer a true plug-and-play experience. It can be connected immediately between any 802.3af-compatible switch and an Ubiquiti device requiring 24V passive PoE.

The Instant 802.3af Gigabit PoE Converter integrates seamlessly with a variety of auto-sensing 802.3af PoE switches for remote power control applications. As you manage and monitor your network, you can conveniently power or power cycle your remote devices using your 802.3af switch.
